The $500 website includes booking and AI-webchat setup. Model usage costs are additional; working chat functionality still needs verification.

How the work moves forward

We agree on a timeline before starting.

  1. Plan

    One conversation about your business, then we draft the structure: which pages, answering which searches, in what order. You approve it before anything gets built.

  2. Build and review

    We build and write. You review the site on a private link. The agreed build includes two revision rounds; corrections to our mistakes do not count toward them.

  3. Approve and launch

    After your approval, we launch on your domain and handle hosting and technical upkeep. Any Google Business Profile work is agreed separately.

What does a small business website cost?
The agreed build is $100 or $500, including one year of hosting. The $500 website adds booking and AI-webchat setup; model usage is additional. See scope and terms.
Do I own the website?
Yes: the domain, the site, the content, and the Google accounts are registered to you from day one. If you leave, everything goes with you.
How long does it take?
We agree on a timeline before starting.
Will it show up on Google?
We build readable pages. Search positions depend on factors outside our control; the Search Visibility Review can identify priorities.
I already have a website. Do I have to start over?
Sometimes a repair is enough. Describe the issue before we agree on a rebuild or troubleshooting scope.
What about ChatGPT and AI search?
Every site we build is readable to AI assistants, not just Google, because 45% of consumers now use AI tools when picking local businesses. It’s included, not an upsell.
What if I want changes after launch?
Changes and ongoing content are scoped and priced separately. Existing signed rates and commitments still apply.
How long is hosting included?
Hosting is included at no extra charge for one year from go-live. After that, you can handle hosting, agree a price with Matthew Jamison for JSS hosting, or choose another provider. The site stays yours. If you take over hosting, priority consultations are the usual $125/hour. Hosting is not charged automatically. Existing commitments still apply.
Is local SEO included in the $100 build?
Basic readability for Google and AI assistants is included. The $295 Search Visibility Review provides a separate assessment and plan; implementation is quoted separately.
